Ross Buttner  did his apprenticeship as a motor mechanic with Ray Gulson and Autotech in Canberra (both authorized Alfa Romeo dealers and service centres).

He has over 45 years’ experience as a mechanic across many automotive marques including Alfa Romeo (of which he restored his own to concourse standard - a 105 series 1600 GT Junior), Ferrari, BMW, Porsche, Audi and Maserati to name a few besides the lesser more common marques.

Ross’ skills encompass old school mechanics (servicing, repair and restoration) to servicing and repair of more modern vehicles.

Ross has extensive experience in the tuning and restoration of classic Aussie and American muscle cars.

​

Ross joined QV Automotive Engineering in October 2020.
